Isabel, Thomas, and Dirk invite you to the house and garden at Ort Kaakstedt 44, Gerswalde to pull back from highspeed projectile motion through urban spacetime and retreat into a slower quality of time and a softer quality of space.
The focus of the retreat is on the rehabilitation of all of the senses through simple eating, guided exercises, walks and other activities such as sheep-gazing, drawing, listening, and sound foraging. From Saturday evening until Thursday morning the intention is placed on consciously doing and even more importantly yielding and letting ourselves and our biosocial surround simply be.
Participants will be provided with intentionally simple accommodations: a single bed, with access to a shared bathroom, kitchen, and common areas of the garden and barn. Isabel, Thomas, and Dirk will take turns guiding different aspects of the retreat for those who wish to participate, leaving plenty of time to determine your own schedule for scenic walks, trips to the lake, conversation and rest. Camping on site is an option for those who wish for a private dedicated space.
Food is provided for with two simple meals per day (vegan/vegetarian and on one occasion meat for those who wish) that will be based around the fresh vegetables from our garden as well as local products other regional farmers and hunters.
